- Soy Sauce: half cup or 6 Tbsp
- Brown Sugar: 3 Tbsp
- Cornstarch: 1 ½ Tbsp
- Ginger: 1 tsp (grated)
- Garlic: 2 tsp (grated)
- Warm water: ½ cup
- Black Pepper Powder: to taste
- Sesame or Olive Oil: 2 Tbsp
