About the Owner
I was born in the countryside of Trinidad and Tobago to a humble family that understood the meaning of “it takes a village” to raise a child. I spent my free time with my siblings and cousins playing and picking fruits in our grandmother’s garden. With my mother’s and grandmother’s guidance, I learned to transform varied fruits into spiced and sweet sauces, jams, jellies, and chutneys.
After graduating from law school, I moved to New York where I continued practicing law while gleefully experimenting with sweet and hot sauces which I shared with my friends and colleagues. I was playfully dubbed the “the hot sauce queen”, and with their encouragement and support, took the leap to commercial production.
Hence, it’s not by coincidence I chose the name Dingolay, which in Trinidad and Tobago is a spontaneous, uninhibited, and individualistic dance performed to express joy and euphoria. Fostering my childhood passion which culminated in the commercial production of gourmet sauces keeps me rooted to my joyful life in the Caribbean. Dingolay is an expression of that joy and celebrates my circle of life.

Original Tropical Gourmet Hot Sauce is an exquisite blend of ripened Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Peppers, pickled garlic carrots, brown sugar, olive oil, vinegar, and selected herbs and spices. To have a fiery yet sweet mouthwatering experience, pair it with rice, pasta, pizza, meats of all kinds, and vegetables.
Mango Tropical Gourmet Hot Sauce and Pineapple Tropical Gourmet Hot Sauce are prepared with ripened mangoes and pineapples, respectively. These delicious fruits are blended with premium Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Peppers, vegetables, and selected herbs and spices to add an exquisite flavor to your favorite meals.
